Hi all,
I have a finalized design in IKEA Kitchen Planner, and am ready to go to the store.
I need to do two things:
1)Tweak the design to perfection
2)Order it
I am worried about #1. I have some things that might be a little unique (I have pushed the wall cabinets with the fridge in it 3" away from the wall. So that a regular fridge will recess flush with the cabinets, and I don't have to buy a cabinet depth one). That's just an example, but I did some neat stuff with stacking of cabinets, etc.
Last time I walked into the IKEA Etobicoke, I asked a basic question that had 2 options. Was looking for the Ikean's input. He basically shrugged and said "you can do it either way.. whatever you want to do"
I was hoping for an answer like "it's up to you, but option B is WAY better/more common than A".
I really need someone to order my kitchen who has either a)been working there for a while and knows what works and what doesn't, or b)is an absolute kitchen genius.
I'm looking for them to review my diagram, suggest what won't work, make creative suggestions (I see you want modern... have you considered doing x?).
I've already posted here and received feedback from everyone, which I have incorporated.
Does anyone know of an awesome kitchen designer in either Burlington or Etobicoke? Did a search but the info is from 2006 and I'm not sure those people work there any more.
Who did you use? Are you happy with them? Were they average or GREAT?
Thanks!
