Hello all! First post! I'm moving into a new 1 bedroom apartment and gutting out the kitchen cabs to make way for a new ikea design that features more counter space and storage/ usability. The current layout is pretty cramped (and ugly). Looking for feedback to the following questions below. Help is greatly appreciated!

(Aiming for a built in microwave in the empty spot above stove, just not featured in image. Fridge intentionally left out since it will be in hallway nook across from kitchen cove)
1) what do you think of the current design layout I created? the L-shape maximizes the space of the tiny 6x9 footprint. I'm putting the fridge in the hallway opposite the kitchen in a nook that doesnt obstruct the main hallway in any manner but keeps a flow from the kitchen thats not unreasonable. This allows me to get extra cabs and countertop at the end of the kitchen since there is really limited space in the kitchen for storage etc. I'd rather not have the fridge in the kitchen just because thats customary and it would result in real sacrifices in both storage and counter space in an already limited sized kitchen. Believe me, I'd keep it there if it seemed realistic.
2) corner sink (not shown in planner file) is going to be a challenge. I want to put a top mount blanco 16" bar sink in the corner with a corner mounted pull out faucet. The other option is the dreaded batwing double corner sink, but I'd like to avoid at all costs to cons listed in other threads. Its a small apartment/kitchen etc. I'm sure others handle smaller sinks with ease (esp since there will be a d/w). The hookup is in that corner back wall so I really need to work with a corner sink or eliminate the L-shape addition on the right.
3)Any better ways to fit in the cabinets in a more symmetrical manner? I put a mix of drawer and shelf type cabinets for diff storage options: any downsides to their current placement or are there suggestions on better placement? please note the left wall is really an opening for the entire kitchen. the only restriction with that 9' distance is where the hallway starts.
Thanks in advance!
