Attaching Nexus Drawer Fronts to Komplement Drawers?

Hi,

I have decided my best bet for my living room "wall unit/craft area" is Akurum cabinets. (one decision down).

Now, I want as many shallow drawers as possible and I'm not keen on the concealed/behind cabinet door drawers, as I will be sitting there and working and want to be able to have drawers on both sides pulled out so I can reach things easily -- without having a door open too.

So I'm leaning towards using the popular Komplement drawer modification in the Akurum cabinets as they are six inches deep and not slanted like the sides of the Rationell drawers (also important to me).

BUT... I want to be able to mount Nexus door fronts to them and use that instead of a cabinet door. So ...

1) Can it be done?
2) What drawer fronts would I need to have the measurements come out right? (the sizes seem limited and I'm thinking it's going to be a precision issue).
3) How many Komplement drawers can I fit in a base cabinet?
4) Downsides? Problems?

The Komplement drawers don't need to hold a lot of weight.
