My wife and I are planning an remodel of her craft area. We've come across the Akurum/Rationell high cabinet 2 drawer system, which will work for the storage in this space.
The problem is, there's only about 75" in height to work with. So, I'm considering cutting down the frame to the correct height before install. I would cut the top down as to preserve the install of the drawers on the bottom. I would do the same modification to the door. I'm also doing away with the legs and using a toe kick base for the frames.
Does anyone see any issues with this approach? Has anyone here done similar modifications to these frames?
Thanks in advance.
